One issue that comes up in Social Security Disability cases when the economy is bad is whether the person is disabled from working or simply can’t find work. The reality of a bad economy is that employers are pickier and less likely to hire someone who has a disability whether they admit that fact or not. What you need to be able to show to win your case is that even if work was available, you physically couldn’t do it. |
